Women's Travel

Women may have a variety of reasons for wanting to travel with other women.
For some, it is the ideal way to travel safely in a group, without feeling the discomfort that sometimes arises between members of the opposite sex. Or perhaps you wish to take a vacation, but friends and family are unable to accompany you. Instead of travelling alone, you might want to travel with a group of other women, and  gain an opportunity to make friendships while visiting new destinations around the world

Often, we women are responsible for so much in our lives and we juggle many tasks at once. There comes a time for many of us when we find we are feeling tired and drained. Travelling with other women can present the perfect opportunity to take some breathing space from daily routine, and gain a fresh perspective; to explore new facets of our personalities and change our way of looking at the world.
We can feel safe in the supportive, non-competitive company of other women, and we can feel free to allow ourselves to relax, breathe and relish our time together. We can let go of our  responsibilities and our stress while kicking up our heels with ¨the girls.¨

Often, women prefer a type of travel that is relaxed and non-goal oriented; rather than seeing as many sights in as short a time as possible, we enjoy soaking up the culture and having unstructured time together.The joy of nobody keeping tabs on us for a while, combined with the newness of enjoying new destinations, can help put us in touch with aspects of ourselves we may have forgotten about or may be discovering for the very first time. Mothers and daughters travelling together may learn new and surprising  things about themselves and eachother that will serve to enrich their present and future relationships.

Women may also enjoy and feel comfortable adventuring and learning new skills whilst among other women travellers. The development of camaraderie, the sense of empowerment,  and the sharing that often occurs when women are together can make the difference between a great travel experience and a superlative one.
