Puno’s Enchantment
In the morning you will be met at the Juliaca Airport. On our way to Puno (1 hour) we’ll visit the Chullpas (Burial Site) of Sillustani, the most important funerary site on the plain of Collao. Upon arrival in Puno and check - in to you hotel you will be offered a cup of Coca Tea, to help you acclimate.

Traditional Puno (B)
In the morning we’ll take a trip to visit the city of “Las Cajas Reales Chucuito”, which lies just 20km from Puno. There we will visit the Temple of Fertility, known in Quechua as the Inka Uyo.
Afterwards, visit the community of Chinchera, where you’ll have a private weaving demonstration, which will cover the weaving process from beginning to end.

The Windy Waters of Lake Titikaka (B, L, D)
Puno – Lake Titicaca
Take a boat to the Floating Islands of Uros, home of the ancient inhabitants of Lake Titicaca. This community has endured for hundreds of years, thanks to their continual renovation of the island floor with totora reeds and mud and their harmonious relationship with nature. Later, visit the Island of Amantani, where you will see the sacred sites of Pachatata and Pachamama, (Father Sky and Mother Earth).

Exploring the Island of Taquile (B, L, D)
Lake Titicaca – Puno
In the morning, visit the Island of Taquile, whose inhabitants are known for their friendliness as well as for their weavings. They design mantas, chullos (earflap hats), and other articles of clothing and daily life. There, you will enjoy a typical lunch prepared by the residents of Taquile.
Return by boat to Puno.

 Return to Lima (B)
In the morning you will be taken back to the Juliaca Airport to board your flight back to Lima
